One Earth Organics (OEO) “partners” with entities that generate medium (typically at least 1,500 tons per year) to large quantities of waste. We help our clients reduce their waste related costs, and increase their by-product revenues, by showing them how to increase and improve their recycling, composting, and by-product utilization, and optimize their transportation arrangements. - By-Product Development - At OEO, we have a creative mindset – we believe that with enough time and effort we can find a way to turn nearly any waste material into a product that generates a profit. In the 35 years that our principals have worked in the waste and recycling industries we have witnessed close up, and/or have participated in, the transformation of dozens of waste materials into products. These successes are a result of “out of the box” creative thinking, thorough and well organized research and development efforts, and skillful marketing.
- Research and Development (R&D) – OEO personnel have the knowledge and experience to coordinate R&D efforts involving scientists, environmental consultants, regulators, our own personnel, and our client’s personnel. Details on some R&D projects OEO has overseen are available.
- Regulatory Compliance – Working within the complex labyrinths of regulations that exist pertaining to solid waste, composting, pet food, food for human consumption, livestock feed, and other by-product areas is a specialty in and of itself. OEO principals have a combined total of over 35 years experience working with regulators on projects ranging from permitting solid waste facilities, to obtaining regulatory exemptions that allow food wastes to be used to augment bark mulch, to shipping food considered esthetically off-spec for US markets overseas for human consumption.
- Transportation Management – The principals of OEO have been shipping wastes, recyclables and by-products via truck, rail, and ocean going vessels for decades. We call on that experience as we aggressively pursue economical, reliable and safe waste and by-product transportation options on behalf of our clients.
- Negotiating – OEO personnel have been negotiating tipping fees, sales prices of by-products and recyclables, transport costs, etc., on an almost daily basis for decades. We help our clients enter into fair and prosperous agreements by first doing thorough research, and then negotiating skillfully on their behalf. Our clients have final say on all agreements we bring to the table, and they have control over any and all actions we take on their behalf.
